Right, as I understand it heatpipes work by heating a fluid in the pipe, the fluid rises, then evaporates and falls back to the heat scource to beging the cycle again. Now, the pipes on my Cythe Ninja CPU cooler are horizontal. My Zalman PSU is installed upside down, the heatpipe on that is of course also upside down.
They both seem to work. Am I completely wrong about the workings of heatpipes. Are they as efficient installed upside down or horizontally.
