Anyone know of any good low-profile CPS coolers that'd fit into a Silverstone SG05? Obviously they recommend their own cooler but I'm after one with a fan on it rather than relying on the PSU fan (preferably a 120mm).
If anyone has any suggestions it'd be much appreciated.
Cheers

Huh? I thought what their saying is you buy the heatsink then you mount a 120mm fan ontop?
If you scroll down they seem to suggest that the heatsink should be placed under your PSU fan which then acts as your CPU fan also. Seems a slightly daft idea to me to be honest.

I personally couldn't find one so I went with the Antec Kooler and changed the supplied fan for a thinner version.
Is it the Kuhler Shelf you used? What's the spacing like with that and a thinner fan? I'm very tempted by this but it looks like it may cover the RAM slots.

Cheers for the suggestions thus far.

If anything will fit the scythe shuriken will... 58mm stack height

The BIG is 120mm and the rev b you linked to is 100mm fan so if you measure it up you can see if you have space for your ram.

.

It actually works very well in my Sugo01. The PSU fans act as an extraction so take the hot air away.

Been running my Q6600 like this for years

Not sure what's daft about it. Works great in my SG05 with a passive heatsink, but the proximity of the front fan and the PSU fan mean that temps remain fair.

Well cheers for the responses. Think I'll go with the Scythe.

The main problem with the passive heatsink for me is that the SG04 doesn't fit a regular PSU, it's supplied with a Silverstone PSU which looks to have an 80mm fan inside which I'm not sure is enough - sorry for being a bit vague on that one.
