Hi guys, ive jsut built my system last night, took me around 6 hours, then at the end found i had to take off the cpu cooler for ajustment.. after removing motherboard etc.. and re placing it on my board, ive noticed the copper headsink baseplate slightly touches two solid state capacitors around the CPU dock.. Is this a problem ?

Its a Biostar t power i45 board, with an tuniq tower 120 cooler...

Cheers.

A simple precaution is to put a strip or two of electrical tape on the backplate where it would touch the capacitors. If you stick the tape to the backplate rather than the motherboard it will be a lot easier and safer if you ever want to take it off.

PK!
