Just going to pick up bits for my new rig, they been delivered to mates place today.
From the spec, does anyone see any potential problems, conflicts, hiccups or other pain-the-ass scenario's with them?

New build to replace my trusty Socket 939 DFI NF4 Ultra rig.
I went for a media based rig with plenty power for games (Im a CS:Source/TF2 freek :D)

Here's the rundown:
Moncaso 932 Case
Asus P6T Board
i7 920 cpu
Corsair 6GB PC3-12800 Ram
GTX-285 1GB GPU
2x Sammy F1-1TB HDD for Raid 0
Zalman 850W Heatpipe PSU
4x Noctua 80mm fans (these will replace the 4 case fans)
Hauppage 400 Sat/Cable card

I got wireless mouse and kboard for media and wired jobs for the games.
I havent got a replacement fan for the cpu as I'm limited to 130mm max height due to the case (its hi-fi seperates size, bout 160mm height and 435mm width). Any recommends on that front?

Any help much appreciated!

Just hope it all hangs together as well as the rig it replaces - fingers crossed! :o

seems a bit overkill for css & tf2! could have run them and media fine on a system that cost half the price!

Nice spec though :)

Yeah, I was in that dilemma but figured might as well go for the most up to date platform, espesh since I got my overtime this month.
I'd of blown it on booze, clubbin and me motor otherwise lol!
There's a few puppy's on their way that will need a higher spec'd pc (Crysis add-ons for me!) so saving the hassle of upgrading later.

I had been keeping an eye on the forums to see what hardware issues there are, but I think the cpu/mobo/ram should be fine. At least I havent seen any major faults posted so far.

No probs, I've got a 750GB external for essential stuff.

In what way do you mean risky, as in too much data to loose if one of them screws up?

After buying them I notice there are a few complaints about these drives, argh!
Hopefully its a batch taht mine dont come from lol!

RAID0 1tb drives is a bit random for a boot storage and OS. I'd have gone for RAID 0 320gb for programmes and OS and then storage drives not in RAID. Bit if you find it's working for you, then that's all that matters.

Yeah unfortunately it was the most expensive part.
It's a jack of all trades, I lurve a good game to de-stress with and also a fair bit of recoding and variety of VM's running hence the high specs.
I'm waiting on buying my mates 2 raptor's for boot os.

I've done a few overnight burn in's with prime95 and benchmark proggy's and its surprising how much lower the temps are than I expected.
Reckon the move to smaller die's is paying dividends on the lower heat output. Well done intel and nvidia on that count.
