Heavy Rain confirmed for 26th Feb

/has calmed down

If they manage to make something of the same quality of the first 3/4 of Fahrenheit but all the way through it'll be one of my best ever games.

/crosses fingers.

A nice walk-through just posted here..

(I think it contains spoilers, so bear this in mind, I'm just downloading as we speak, so can't confirm!)

Why the hell would you read that?

Heavy Rain is one of very few games I've been this excited for in a long, long while.

Absolutely cannot wait until the end of Feb now :)

As long as I don't do what I did with Fahrenheit and get it 2 days before release and play it non stop until I'd finished in... roughly a day or so before it was supposed to be released.

Fahrenheit still to this day is one of my favourite games, I just can't get the damned thing to work on Windows 7 or Vista :(

Has anyone got any ideas on where to get the Collectors Edition from yet?

A few stores have got Heavy Rain available for preorder now but no CE yet :(

Aha, managed to find the place that is selling the "UK Exclusive Special Edition", the place has a dog as it's logo :)

Oh and Alex Pavey has said there will be a demo of Heavy Rain on PSN before release!

I've been living under a rock and hadn't heard of this game until about a week ago!

Looks great but I've never played Fahrenheit which is a game people are likening this to. I'll have to download and play the demo before I decide whether it's worth my money. :)

Fahrenheit (or Indigo Prophecy as it's known in the US) was made by the same company.

It's the same principles as this, more "interactive storytelling" than a game so to speak... it's a wonderfully done game with moral choices that effect the outcome of characters and the whole game.

My slight gripe with Fahrenheit was how bizarre it got towards the end, but it is still easily one of my all time favourite games :)

See if you can pick up Fahrenheit on the PC/PS2, it's certainly worth a look if you want something similar to tide you over. It's a pain to get working on modern OS's though :(
