Heavy Rain Problem

Hi,

Just had a quick search and can't spot anything similar so here goes.

Up to chapter 18 now I think (The Bear, starts at a car garage) but I can't seem to progress any further. I interrupt the mechanic and then show him the ticket.

Unfortunately at that point the mechanic just stands there motionless and there is nothing left to do in the scene

Anyone had this? Any ideas to a solution?

Doesn't he give you car keys or leave car keys on the table (in exchange for the ticket). after you show him the ticket?

Yes ^, walk over to the office and collect the keys from the desk.

From the guide,

The bear origami includes a car maintenance garage ticket. Eager to find his son, Ethan goes to the address listed on the message.

At the garage, talk to the mechanic working under a vehicle, and show him the ticket. Get the car key, take the elevator down, and use the car key's alarm beeper to find the correct car. Inside this car, search the left side of the driver's seat to find a GPS device.

The Origami Killer's first trial is driving against traffic. Ethan must do so, but don't worry about getting killed; messing up merely causes him to suffer close shaves that slow him down. Even if he fails here, he will survive and continue.

Nope guy just stands dead still holding the ticket. No mention of keys.

Can't open any doors either :/

Only thing i can suggest is to restart that bit from the menu and carry on from there, your save may be corrupt.

How bout going back to level before, if im right its the one with the baby its pretty quick so may be worth a try.

Went back to the dash of the PS3 and restarted the game from there, save working fine again!?

Same thing happened to me a bit later on when i was supposed to do something, then the game crashed and refused to load after so instead of starting again i just traded it in :s
