This was recommended to me but I'm finding the controls really frustrating. Who thought R2 to walk would be a good idea?

Is this worth sticking with as I'm really not feeling it so far?

Stick with it, one of the stand out games on PS3 for me - and great to revisit it on the PS4; Two Souls as well.

Hrm OK I'll give it a chance in that case. Looks like it shouldn't take too long to complete anyhow :)

Its a decent game using old control methods from PS3 era. game has a lot of endings, and branches, so to see all the endings takes a while.

It worked better with PS move on PS3 back when released. I have played it to completion on both PS3 and PS4 and the move controls easily beat the PS4 controller if I'm honest.

Nice soundtrack on Beyond Two Souls and rather interesting story. I've still to complete that on the PS3 and had bought it on sale for the PS4. The bundle of Heavy Rain and Two Souls.

Some real nice action on Beyond Two Souls.

Fahrenheit is also available which was the first game of these three. It still looks a bit dated but is a superb game and story.

Cheers guys. I'm not a fan of so many QTEs but can overlook it as things are improving now.

Not being that familiar with the controller button designations has meant I've nearly messed things up a few times (I'm used to Xbox360 pad on PC) so I dropped the difficulty a notch! :o

I usually put the difficulty on low for HR/BTS - as it only affects the speed of the QTEs - frankly, I have terrible coordination and response times :D These games to me are more of an interactive story, and not something I need a challenge on.

One thing that is missing (I think) from HR on the PS4, is the Madison extra mission, where you sneak into that house - I bloomin' loved that add-on, and had hoped they would do more and more!

That pretty sums it up for me. I've got a bit of delayed processing going on in my brain because I have to think, "errr... circle, is that X or B?" - so easy difficulty for me it is!

You get harder QTEs with right stick when you up the difficulty and they are very unforgiving for some reason. I don't have an issue doing them in normal exploration gameplay.

I don't know for this specific game but isn't triangle always usually block or dodge? Circle, roll if it can and square melee.

I never have an issue with triangle, funnily enough! My old brain is just struggling even with L1/L2 sometimes. Coming to controller after decades of mostly mouse and keyboard is a killer. :p

At least the kontrol freek sticks mean I can actually hit stuff that needs fine aiming in games.

I feel that way when I use the Xbox 360 controller on the PC and looking down at the jellybeans.

Heavy Rain on PS3 was an experience that stuck with me. Some criticized it for being a game that was essentially nothing but QTE, but the story telling was excellent.

Completed this tonight with what I reckon has to be the best ending. Well worth persevering. Thanks guys! :D

Now to get the missing 19 trophies for platinum!
