Can anyone recommend value for money heavyweight hoodies? Some seem ridiculous that near £100 or over but is it a case of what you pay leads to way more quality?

Looking for a hoodie that lasts multiple washes and the colour doesn't fade or it shrinking and losing shape?

It seems the normal stuff in the high street falls apart from the likes of H&M, Zara and co.

Crew used to make excellent heavyweight zipperless hoodies. I have a few from around 5-6 years ago, but haven't been able to find them since, nor anything else that comes close.

Sorry I can't help but it's reassuring to see another brother facing the same struggle.

I think that is the issue. I have stuff in my collection from the past decade and it held up well but recent purchases have just been awful.

I now much prefer the zipperless hoodies hence on the hunt.

I purchased a Colorful Standard hoodie and that seems quite heavyweight and good quality.
I've only worn it twice and washed once and it's still fine.

Costco tend to have some well priced - not blank, but I picked up a Levi's branded one for £26 and several Jack Wills (tiny embroidered logo) for £30 each. Both decently heavy and soft brushed cotton.

I dunno how heavyweight, but for outdoor use I tend to buy Pentagon albeit a touch tactical styled - but nicely substantial feeling and hard wearing, though the colours are a touch different to how they look in the images for some reason.

Pentagon gear is good. They do hoodie that look decent also but do have the usual velcro arm patches

The quality of clothing has dropped in the last 20 years or more, unless you pay through the nose for expensive clothes.
Although that does not always guarentee quality either.

Good heavyweight hoodies that are built to last will set you back £70 - £100 and even then they are nothing amazing.

There's some on ebay, but depends on the fit you're after. There's been a few topics around this, and the general consensus is the majority is poor quality or poorly fitting. The bigger ebay stores can offer free returns, but those can be a PITA sometimes too, Asda only dropoff for example.

Have a look at the GSM weight and compare. I'm currently trialing some Tee Jays sweats, but too early to tell if top tier stuff, fit is good though.

These guys do a 750gsm hoodie. That's pretty damn heavy.

I might order a couple to see what they're like.

Wtf is a heavyweight hoodie? So you look extra ruff down the 'spoons?
It's a thick hoodie. For those of us who don't want to put any thought into what to wear. And to give the local snobs something to justify looking down upon us for.

Check Gymshark out, they have a sale on.

Otherwise check Sports Direct, TKmax or Primark.

Everything will fall apart these days and certainly fade in washes.
