Hed Kandi - recommendations?

I've recently bought a few Hed Kandi cds, my normal music is Indie and just fancied a change, don't have much knowledge of this kind of music. I wasn't keen on the Hed Kandi disco heaven, nor the chillout one i got.

But i absolutely love the World series Paris album, its full of awesome tunes, and was wondering are there any other similar cds like this around, doesn't have to be Hed Kandi specifically, just similar?

my favorite hed kandi cd was Hed kandi - Summer mix 2004, especially cd 1.

I enjoy the twisted disco cd's and the kandi lounge...but you said you don't enjoy the "chillout".

The much older stuff is better.

I find I don't really like the albums so much after it was sold to Ministry of Sound and became really mainstream. The latest Twisted Disco is rubbish compared to the offerings of the past.

Try the World Series Mix.

It's excellent. The newer stuff along with everything else at the moment sucks balls.

If you like Hed Kandi you should check out Fierce Angel and this is Mark Doyle's new label (Mark Doyle is the guy behind Hed Kandi). As Arjun says the new HK stuff isnt as good as the older stuff as they were bought over by MOS.

Most of the Disco Heaven albums are good, especially Disco Heaven 02.02

I've been meaning to check out the Fierce Angel label but never got round to it, are the albums good?
