I know theres a few people on this forum, myself included, who work in oil and gas and will have been offshore. Hopefully no-one is hurt.

Yes, everyone will have a survival suit, so its waterproof, with air, life jacket etc.

The worry is that does bugger all if the helicopter crashes to fast.

Left the office before this hit the news, then seen it on the gym tv. Bet the lad next to me who flies out tomorrow is getting as bit uneasy! Glad to hear everyone is safe though.

Im heading out to a talisman platform in a couple of weeks, not sure what helicopter yet though. I feel sorry for the pilots who have to fly them.
