I've fancied getting a helicopter sim for ages, any good recommendations?

Flight Sim is a fairly obvious candidate, but the last time I tried a version (FS2000 I believe), I discovered that there was a recognised design flaw in the hover model of FS meaning that it simply wouldn't.

Thoughts?

WOW that helo looks wicked! Makes the Eurocopter Tiger look like a joke!

Is this Blackshark sim really complex though...is it aimed at uber-simmers (where u have to read a 500-page manual to learn how to start the engines) or can u just hop in and blat around! Hopefully they will have a simple option for people like me hee hee. Cool scree-captures show us some more! MORE MORE :D

Should have Options for both the People who wanna just blow things up and the uber-simmers. It'd be up to you what you want.

They are realeasing a promo vid tommorow, i'll post a link for those interested. In the meantime.........

Awesome, and if I remember right this helicopter is the only one to have an ejection seat! Pull the handle and the rotor-blades are blown off follwed milliseconds later by the seat!

I dont wanna think what would happen if theres a malfunction and the rotors fail to jettison...but the seat ejects

any ideas on the specs needed to run it yet?

Recommended: Pentium IV 2 GHz or AMD equivalent; RAM 1 GB; 16x CD/DVD ROM drive; 2.5 GB of free HDD space; video card with 256 MB RAM and full DX 8.1 support; keyboard; mouse; 4+ axis joystick; Windows 2000/XP operational system.

Seems very low...

I can't believe it will look anything like those screenshots with that spec and still be playable.

Though I would like to be proved wrong.
