have joined this forum as I am going to us Overclockers to slowly build myself a gaming PC that suits my needs.

This is going to start with me buying a ATI 7970 next month from Overclockers.

Anyway, if you are buying one component at a time and not using them, they are losing value and by the time you get the parts, you could have built it for less!

To add to PhillyDee's comment, starting with the graphics card is probably not the best way to go about it. That's one of the last things you should get if you're doing it the long way.
