Hellfest/Wacken Open Air

I'm looking (well, really planning to) getting tickets for these two festivals next summer.
Have anyone here been to any of this festivals who could tell me a bit more what prices for drink/food usually are etc?

How did you travel to get there?

Never been myself but i believe a coupe of travel firms do the ferry/bus/ticket type thing so it might be worth looking for that option.

Went to Wacken in 05/06/07. Can't remember much about it to be honest... and it's probably all changed.

wolfie, i sent off an email to the official UK travel firm for Hellfest last night, so waiting to get a reply back from them.

Wacken used to do their own Shuttle Bus from Lubeck airport. Hellfest I think have a party bus that goes from London.
