I'm going to take a stab in the dark -

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte Z77X-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £112.99
1 x Be Quiet Power Zone 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Fully Modular Power Supply £99.95
1 x BitFenix Ronin Tower Case - Black £69.95
Total : £295.49 (includes shipping : £10.50).

Was meant to change the board after realising! : Got distracted at work as I posted.

Now edited.

nice!. I'll probably go with a 1000 power supply to future proof with two cards.

also will the case allow for two cards of that size, these days they're getting longer and longer :D

and gotta say, need a motherboard that can run memory higher then 1600 which im currently at

motherboard i use is Gigabyte p77a-ud4

No need a good 750W-850W PSU will run two 280x's with ease.

The case will be fine, though im not a fan of the case fan's. id look at replacing them when you come to Xfire

How come? Ivybridge doesn't benifit from RAM over 1600mhz.

ohh really? thanks for the info.

these are my specs, what should i change then? i dont think my case has enough space unless i can take out some of the front drive slots.

I have to disagree a bit there, I have found that my cpu gets much better physics scores in benchies since I've gone up to 2400mhz ram from 1600, and gaming in general doesn't have that sort of lag on certain games/scenes. Well, not lag as such, but that frame rate drop that sometimes occurs when you get lot going on onscreen; it's not as apparent. Can't say how much difference it would make on BF4 multiplayer or similar though, as I don't play that shizzle.

If that's important to you, then I'd say go for it. Glad I did.

Naturally there will be some scenarios where faster system memory is an advantage, typically under benchmarking, but when it comes to normal usage--not so much, especially when paired a chip architecture like IB.
