The names Oberon after a certain character from a certain play by a certain playwright. But rest assured, I am not King of the fairies.
I thought I should return to these forums as I am actually 100% intent on making a new build after Christmas when that bridge that is all sandy hits the OCUK front page. I want to get the best advice from people in the UK on the building-a-pc scene and I know that this is the best place to get it. Also, the last build I had was from February 2005, so it's probably about time.
My justifications for a new build are; I want to play the all Total War games, Crysis 1&2 and load of other games that have been released in the past years since my old rig here died a horrible death. Apparently a PSU dying isn't good for its health. Personally I think it should man up and get on with it.
I should also mention that I am also a computer science student, I am doing computer graphics as a module and next term I shall be doing a lot of 3D work. Amongst other things such as creating an application for the Android market for my dissertation/software project etc. But that's not quite so important and comes second to gaming, you agree? Good, I thought so too
