Just thought I would say hello as I have finally signed up. Have been lurking under my little brothers login for a while now. Mainly signed up on here as its one of the better photogrpahy forums I have seen. Lots of people who know what there on about, but at the same time speaking in a language I can understand! Plus loads of great photos to look at.

Just bought myself a D50 with a couple of DX lenses. Not really had much of a chance to use it yet as I'm mainly into motorsport photography.

A few pics taken with my old Fuji S5000, they are not great as you can't pan while using continous shooting (well you can, but you can't see what its doing!)

Only taken a few pics with my D50 which I will re-size and post later.

Looks like you've got an intresting bunch of shots there. Hope to see some more action type shots with the D50. Welcome to OcUK. Prepare to spend lots more money on your camera :D

Welcome to the forum :) Glad to have another person interested in Motorsport here, there are quite a few of us, but there's always room for more.

Cheers Guys.

All pics were taken at Elvington, Melbournes track looks more like the surface of the moon, so few race there these days! There is a Straightliners test and tune day at Elvington this Sunday. Will probably take a few pics then assuming it doesn't snow or anything mad like that!

Hi there and welcome to the forum, and particularly the P&V section :)

I am very glad to see you have an interest in all things 2 wheeled, that drag hayabusa looks a bit of a beast, as does the ZX-10 with the extended swing arm! I bet they leave body organs behind when they accelerate!

Few pics from a week last Friday. Not overklly happy with them, look a bit overexposed to me. Probably due to the very low and bright sun as it was first thing in the morning walking home from work when I took them. I also knackered a load up as I had it set on portrait mode to start off with! Doh.

Very nice job with the photos!

Out of your first lot, I prefer two and three, for the simple reason they are just so nice and colourful!

Out of your second lot, number four and five, they're the most interesting for me! :)
