Hi.

New to forum, and the UK. Moved over from South Africa.
Probably won't be very active, not much to say unless something breaks...like now.

Recently unpacked my pc, and it seems that my gpu has not survived the trip.

Any recommendations for a reliable place, in or around Reading that's able to fix the issue? I really just need to make sure the GPU is actually bombed before I commit to a new one.

Thanks.

The setup is:
CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x
Mobo - MSI B450i
Memory - Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2x8GB
GPU - Gigabyte 1080 Ti

It goes through it's power-cycle, and then the mobo has the GPU LED perma-light. Google tells me this is the mobo not detecting the GPU or GPU failure.
The GPU itself only has the Gigabyte logo cycling through it's RGB, no fan spin at all.

I've re-configured the PC to the minimum i.e. single stick of RAM, all drive / usb disconnected.
I've tested the PCI-E power for 12v, and I've tried different PCI-E power cables / different slots.

All have the same result.

The PC was shipped in pieces, i.e. the CPU and cooler was removed and boxed separately. I don't think the PCI-E slot is damaged, and I don't see any visual indication though it's still a possibility.
