I have been having a lot of fun in the South Island of NZ with the family. Mostly, we were cycling which gives a lot of time to ruminate and relax and then get really peed off when it rains but we did the Otago Rail Trail and then spent some time in Dunedin.

From there we went West to Te Anu and then on to the Milford Sounds (via Gunns Camp Site). This morning we set off from there and went to Queenstown Int Airport and came back to sunny Auckland.

Two weeks of awesome.

So on those two weeks I wrote three songs. Without instruments, just voice recording verses, choruses, drum parts and the rest on my trusty and old Samsung S3.

I have the music and will probably 'properly' record it over the next two weeks but I do need some help with the art to go with it.

The band name is Magnolia Down

The name of the EP is for the future anatomy

This is what I had so far:

Whilst amusing photoshops are of course welcome, it'd be quite nice to get some serious people with proper skills both mocking my original attempt and then showing me how it is properly done.

There'll be a 50 pound prize for the the one I like best and use.

Thanks in advance.

e: added larger pic for clarity. Thanks for efforts so far, much appreciated! 50 pounds is by paypal and is cash, not a weight value mrk :)

e2: Brizzles, that's awesome :)

We need some actual samples from your well travelled trusty old S3 of your dulcet tones - For inspirational purposes you understand.

Fairly sure I spend 90% of my time mixing and 10% of my time actually recording :/

Tell me about it.
