Hi, new to the forum so just wanted to introduce myself and say hello!
I'm looking to get started on building my first PC from scratch and just wondered if it would be ok to post my parts list somewhere to have you guys look over it and check that it's all ok?
Being new i wasn't sure if this was allowed and where the best place to post would be?

Hi Ben,

Firstly, welcome. If you haven't already, read the rules in the FAQ because many new posters get caught out when asking for help with parts. Specifically, you aren't allowed to link or ask for links to competitors.

The best place to get a "spec me" or "check this spec" thread is in General Hardware. Why not start your first post with your proposal and see what others can do within your budget? There's plenty of users who will give you options to think about.
