I was messing around with a GFX stress test called Furmark, and it would appear it has fried my Asus 8800GT.
I can't believe it has overheated it because i'm running a T-Rad2 with a 120mm fan on it.
About 90% through the first cycle......screen goes black and the PC reboots....with no display, and a strange smell.
I ripped the card out, but it shows no sign of any overheating.
Has anyone else had any experience with this program?

Whammer

Could it be the VRM area? Since Furmark is known to place a huge load on cards, hence some 4870/4890s can't take the extreme amperage and lock up?
