Hello all, just joined up and thought I would say hi. My name is Ross and I am a 29 year old offshore oil/gas technician from Aberdeen.
I used to be big into PC gaming in the Doom/Quake up to HL2 era and built a few rigs over the years. When I met the other half 7 years ago the PC went (no concidence) in leu of an xbox --> Xbox360 and then subsequently a PS3 which I am still using. Due to her taking up every free inch of the house I have not had room for a big build in the recent years, but with a new house coming in March I am already planning my new manroom along with a shiney new PC.
I am a huge fan of FPS and currently spend most of my time on BF3 (srobrien on battlelog) but watching youtube videos of PC footage just makes me realise what I am missing out on. I am also dying to try out Planetside 2 and WarZ which are only available on PC.
Apart from gaming I am a huge petrolhead with both 4 and 2 wheels, the love of my life is my M3 and I'm hoping to get a decent bike next year..once the PC is built of course.
I'm sure I will be bombarding you all with questions and orders soon.
