I just thought I'd say hello.
I've been reading a lot of posts on here, so I decided to sign up and join in the fun! I've just ordered my first ever desktop PC because I've been stuck with laptops my whole life, It's arriving today in parts, so hopefully I can build it within a few hours.
I just want to thank Overclockers UK for a VERY quick service, I placed my order on the 5th, DPD the courier got it at 3am in the morning on the 7th and even with the backlogs it's in the van on it's way now(9th). So thank you.
So here are the parts I ordered:
XFX ATI Radeon HD 6870 Black Edition
AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1090T Black Edition 3.20GHz
Asus Crosshair IV Formula AMD 890FX
Coolermaster HAF X - (A little OTT but good for upgrading, right?)
Corsair Hydro H70
XFX Pro 750W Core Edition Power Supply
G.Skill RipJaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C7 1600MHz
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache
I few of my friends told me to buy an SSD drive, but they cost a lot. The HDD I picked is much faster than the one I have now I should think, so I don't mind.
