I have a few machines that i'd like to get doing something but i've been away from DC for soooo long I don't know what all the cool kids are crunching these days...

Seti, folding...

I'd like some sage advice please

What spec are your machines good sir? Some projects are better than others depending what you are running.

It's a few servers (5-6) i have idling at work. DL360 and DL380 so no GPU

In that case my recommendation would be for Rosetta. The team would really appreciate the extra crunching power.

Yeah, i remember when I had over 100 machines at work all crunching. Twas good in those days.

But as small start I have installed seti@home running on a G6 DL380 Dual Quad core server.

A few more to follow.

Is that an upgrade to the DL380 G5 you had in 2009?
