Hello, new here!

Been meaning to join up here for a good while, and now i have!

Back in june, i ordered, and built this myself; and all works well! What do you think of this spec?

I'm trying to get back into working with pc's, and messing and modding, so i thought i'd join up here

I mainly do just browsing, and word processing, so its no gaming machine.

Here it is: I need to tidy up the cables, i was messing around at the weekend, so the cables need tidying up again...

I'll no doubt be asking some questions, so, ill thank you in advance

Yeah, i will be doing the cable managment, i may well start doing some gaming on it, you think it is a capabel machine or not??

Not sure what games yet, tbh, something like flight simulator x maybe...And someone shed some light on the resolution please? :confused:

Going to get some airduster ordered and a front case fan, and i just need to sort out the cables again, because i was messing around at the weekend lol!

What sort of cooling upgrade would i be needing if i was unlocking to a quad core, or overclocking?

My board is a socket AM3 though, but would something such as this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-067-AK&tool=3 Be ok?

And that, along with a front case fan, would be sufficient for overclocking?

Thanks, CAT, i've had a quick scan - will read through tommorow when i'm not so dopey! What sort of programs are the best to use to overclock, sorry for all the questions, im new to overclocking

Oh right, i'll steer clear of the programs then, and just do it in the bios, then use cpuz, or something similar?

I'm going to try and not copy exactly what someone else has done, i want to learn for myself, but i'm trying to learn, and learn better from people, and doing things myself, but am a bit worried to mess up my PC!

Got myself some books, but its all jargon in there too
