I'm just using a cheap generic stand that holds the laptop at an angle with nothing beneath it at the ability to rotate it without dragging the stand on the desk and that works very well; it has no manufacturer markings on it but only cost £9!
I was going to buy one for £33. The Akasa Aluminum Alloy Widescreen Notebook Cooler. OcUK have them in stock. But i decided to make my own. Ill post some pic's up as soon as its made.
So far ive only paid for two cheap fans and two very cheap 92mm fan guards (17p each) - When running fans at 5V any old fan will be silent.
The only thing that will cost me is the holesaw and arbor, thats costing me just under a tenner.
Everything else i had at home - Surface, roll of gripping stuff, couple of home made legs and feet and all the wiring. So all in all about £15 for a dam decent table - if i do say so myself
