mmm what to put here
hello im paul and pretty new to overclocking.
currently have a AMD x2 5000+ and a nvidea 720 motherboard. looking at changing it possible later this year as been running it a few years now. - waiting to see what the bulldozer ends up like although its looking like i might go with sandybridge
started to play about with the overclocking about 6 months ago - found photoshop slow to respond at times - now sitting at 3.05, did have it up at 3.15 during the cold months there but with the thaw temps started to get higher and become unstable so backed it off a bit.
now venturing into the area of water cooling as dotn have a massive case for a big HS. now have everything apart from a pump - have the d5 on its way - connected up. hoping the pump will arrive tomorrow and i can leak test all day. if all goes well then hopefully final fitting on wednesday.
i am looking for some quietish fans for the rad, it is external so want to keep the noise down a bit, but decent airflow. any recommendations welcome 1200mm one
cheers for reading
