Hi All
Longtime lurker and all that. I go through addictive phases on my hobbies and interests, and it's recently been another slice for the PC's.
I've always loved computers, but the PC building, modding and overclocking bug really bit me when I realised I could change the mulitplier on my Pentium 2 400 (IIRC) to make it a 500. I really went mad when in the early 2000's and had a modded and watercooled P4 Northwood with a P4C-800E and 9800 pro plus a Lanparty B with a mobile Athlon and some BH-5. I also had a lab with 7 "servers" or to be more truthfull, bargain basement and offcast PC's made from bits and bobs. I started folding but after the first 3 months I got an electricity bill for £750 which put me off.
Since then I've always had a decent PC for gaming with annual upgrades. About 6 months ago my beloved I7 920/Bloodrage/680 combo had a power supply issue (Fractal Design 1000w, but it had lasted years) which sent me on a spiral of silicon substance abuse and irresponsible buying. This came to fruition yesterday when my Intel and AMD builds were nicely rehoused in NZXT H440's.
Currently playing around with settings and seeing what I can get stable on the AMD, havent started with the Intel yet as it's fast enough already

Junior can now play Arma 3 whilst I play BF4 on a Sunday afternoon.
