Hells highway extreme gore

Cant wait for this game though. Looks excellent!

Plus, to be honest, during world war 2 i'm pretty sure a fair few legs and bits were blown of due to explosions and and grenades..

Frag grenades wouldnt have enough force behind them to take off arms or legs let alone rip the torso from the body. Theyre basically a small shrpanel bomb and nothing more.

No, Grenades can blow parts of your limbs off. Although i agree, splitting someone in two is alittle excessive! :p

Meh, I think making a war game that gory is a bit tasteless actually...

Saving private ryan and brothers in arms were just as gory....

and whilst i'm no expert i am willing to bet War is infact pretty gory in real life.

Saving Private Ryan was portrayed as horrific. Not 'woah check out are new XTREEEEEEEEEME gore engine.... see the enemies brains literally fly out '.

There is quite a difference.

True. But i'm not comparing there reason for putting the gore in, I'm just saying that its more realistic with gore in it than not, especially as they are trying to make it an accurate representation of war.

I can deal with the legs and arms being blown off as that could actually happen, however the frequency in which the enemies split in two does look silly!

Well said.

Bullet wounds etc would be much better, or shrapnel sticking into the enemies while they die. *think pins in a voodoo doll style :p*

I think gore is better it is not sugar coating the fact that you are going on a murderous rampage in a computer game lol

sof2 was a class example of this

Looks like over doing the decapitation, would be stupid if you shoot someone in the body with a rifle and cut in two. Slightly different if it's a 25mm cannon. I don't think even a M42 would do that? (maybe on legs and arms)
