[HELP!] 5.1 Surround System doesn't work in games

Hello guys,

I've recently bought my new 5.1 surround system for my PC, but there is a problem. All the speakers work when I listen to music in Windows Media Player, but when I play some games, only the two main ones (L/R Speakers) work. On the other games, they all work fine also.

Any ideas how to make them work in those games? Thank you.

It could be in game settings? have you set the settings to 5.1 Surround? Does the game support 5.1 Surround?

Are you using analogue or digital?

1-unfortunately there are no in-game settings for that specific game.

2-Analogue

Which games? They could be too old to support 5.1 sound. If you're getting 5.1 in some games and not others then it doesn't sound like a hardware issue.
