Help: 7600GT or 7900GS ??

Really struggling to decide what graphics card to buy, not too clued up on the technology!

I was thinking of getting the Point Of View 7900GS 256MB, but a m8 of mine send he got one and was not to impressed......... So now I am very confused.

What would you all recommend ?

By the way, I'm going to be getting myself a Belinea 1925S1W 19" Widescreen monitor, if that make any difference !

Would I need to change my motherboard, I'm gettting a ASRock ConRoe945G-DVI i945G....

I'm not on a huge budget, so I just had a look and found the Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-134-SP) --> £135.11 ????

Any reason as to why you prefer ATI or Nvidia ??

for the range your looking at, ATi supply better image quality, the x1950pro is hdcp enabled giving it some degree of futureproofing and... they have a red logo... it should work in any motherboard with a PCI-e x16 slot
