help? 7850 just arrived

Hey guys, just got a 7850 after someone suggested it on a previous thread. I've put it into my system, turned the system on and nothing happens? System boots, card has a red light on it but none of the fans are active and my screen won't show anything. Any ideas?

Plug old card back in see if you still get the same result.

If it boots back in fine remove all old drivers an use CCLEANER to check the registry.

Put new card back in.

Could you also post system spec.

Lol, don't worry, I couldn't figure out why my computer wouldn't boot when I put it together, it was because I hadn't plugged in the CPU. We all make mistakes.

Yeah, I've just come back from having a 4 hour facial surgery under general anesthetic, I'm a ruin but just simply couldn't wait to get this bad boy in. I've got another problem now, Text is a mess, right resolutions but it feels like it's in 3D or something. Any ideas?

Yep, just had a BSOD while on Bf3 aswell

Never use disk drivers, always get the latest ones from the website.

Did you uninstall the old drivers before fitting the new gpu?

8.95RC is the latest one I could find from their site, just installed that, didn't prompt me for a restart but gunna try it now. Not sure if it matters but I just put a new HMDI cable in instead of DVI, thought the quality would be better - BF3 looks amazing if it doesn't BSOD.

Still the same after restarting. Help

I've now got 12.8, I was looking at the AMD Drivers as opposed to the Catalyst Driver. The problem still persists though
