I have a mate who is leaving the army soon who has a website to promote his new business but its truly awful, is any one willing to build him one, I know its a big ask but if there is anyone trying to get into the trade it could be used in there portfolio. I will sort the hosting and amendments but my artistic skills are limited and it wont be any better than what he already has.

He went with Yell to build him one www.jonbarnettfitness.co.uk and hes being ripped off.

If anyone is willing to help let me know, all it needs is the same content but o nice site, he likes the green in the site, and the red was meant to be changed as well but they are so slow.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you checked out somewhere such as themeforest.com for their website template solutions? They are often better quality than the others out there and cheaper too.

If you needed hosting etc I could point you in the right direction. For what he needs you'd be talking £30 a year, but as you say you've got that covered.

As for the hosting i was going to go with what's recommended in the stickys on ocuk. Looking at templates now. Thanks.

Thats fine, just always check out reviews of hosting (especially more recent ones). If you ever get stuck just give me a shout.

Cheers Jay, still not sure I can do a template, theres one on there he may like, but my PS skills are lacking to match the boarders ect.

Ill have a crack at a free one first see how i get on.

The main one with sites like that, make sure each section is fully planned out.

With templates that are busy with text, that great if you can fill them. The best bet is so plan what goes in each section on paper and work out if its the template for you.

I prefer ThemeForest, but templatemonster is another one.
