Help a Newbie ! Asus P5B - D Wifi issues

Hello Everyone

I got this problem with the wifi kit which comes with this board !

I can get it to work within xp no problems, but when I try to configure it within Vista x32 I get this problem:

Downloaded the Beta drivers from the asus site, installed them restarted the machine, the Asus Wifi Solo software & Vista recognise the card and Im able to configure it with my WPA Key as a workstation client, but refuses to connect onto internet.

Vista keeps on bugging me to connect to a wireless network - try to connect by putting my WPA key - then responds by saying : Cannot connect to network. Try another wireless network.

Any Suggestions People ????????

Thats probably the problem... beta drivers.

Hi, yes those drivers will never work with WPA and vista, if you turn off the security they will but that is not the solution. What you need is these http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...n=5&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Downloads=true Don't run the setup, if you just need the drivers, just update the existing drivers and point it at the unzipped folder...

thank you - that fixed my problem
