help a noob- HD for Network

be any good for my network (attached to my router) were as any material i download can go straight onto it or move material from computer to it, and then access it on a xbox? (oviously with the computer off)

Yes, fine for the computer bit ... I couldn't tell you about the Xbox, I don't own one, but if the Xbox does ethernet networking then I don't anticipate a problem.

Western Digital make decent drives too.

cheers man... yeah with the box u just seem to pick the location of the media, so should work just preff confirmation before i invest.
