Help a noob with nat settings and ports

hey

I know this must have been asked a million times and i appreciate you guys are probably sick of answering this but here goes.

Recently switched over to talktalk as they gave us the best speed we can get in our area (around 1.8mbps). Anyway i have a HUAWEI echolife hg521 router and windows 7. When downloading on vuze i can only get a yellow face on the health section meaning i have a NAT problem.

Now every article i read on the net is far too much to take in. I build pc's, play games and tinker with them but half the stuff these guys go on about i cant even begin to understand what the hell is going on. I've disabled the firewall both on my pc and router thinking that might sort it but still no joy?

If someone would be very kind to guide me through it or atleast show me a VERY simple guide on how to sort this out please let me know. I feel such a idiot

you need to tell the router to port forwarding to your PC, i always use port 6881 TCP/UDP for bit torrent to my machine.
