I'm looking at Krypton Z68 590i Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30GHz @ 4.40GHz Overclocked Bundle for a first new build.

I cant decide on AMD or Intel or if I even want the overclock, I still got some reserching to do so if anyone got directions to some good links about proccesers, z68 mother bords, genral pc building that will help me please post.
 
I'll be using it for auto cad and solid works for uni and then gaming/internet.
I'm just reading the build guide now

I think I hit my first student loan instalment enough, going to see what grx card and dvd rw I put in my old athalon crapard bell and see if its usable
 
I like the board its cheaper then the one I specified and it is THX certified, Its on my new list!

for the graphics how good is the on board, as I only have games from the early 2000 so and the price of the 6870 I can get a blu ray drive and 30gb ssd and have HD movies in the bedroom, keep the wife happy
 
I didt know I could get a free copy, I have seen student edition of xp for £99 in pc world ages ago thanks for the heads up.
