Getting older I have to wonder if I'm not seeing scams any more.
Does this look well dodgy on Marketplace?
Especially the amount of time it's took to reply to me.
This Millie is actually saying he's a shop which could be genuine from past OCUK threads.

I've bought from a business before, on FB marketplace. I did pick it up in person and paid in cash after inspection though.

That does look dodgy tbh. If you do get sent a link run it through a link checker such as: https://nordvpn.com/link-checker/

But surely if the item is available through their site it would be available elsewhere? Or is the price too good to be true?!

The more i look at that message the more it screams scam and when you place the order > enter your credit card details > you won't know anything until your bank calls you and your account has been emptied.

100% scam.

They will send you a "normal" looking link but in reality will be dodgy.

Facebook market place - Cash on collection/pickup - nothing else.

Looks dogy to me, just very odd style of writing. If Millie 'I am a shop' Scammerson is legit then why are they being so defensive about being real, why are they called 'Millie', and why aren't they trying to sell you on the actual product at all?

I'm 75% sure it's a scam.

There are genuine buyers and sellers on FB marketplace, but also a lot of scammers and time wasters. I bought a sofa and sold my old one last year (cash on collection in both cases), but had to wade through a lot of dodgy profiles and messages.

Scam. Don't use marketplace for anything other than cash pickup. Why? Because it's full of people vulnerable to scams

I've bought loads of stuff off Marketplace and never had a problem, usually cash on pickup.
I posted it because of the "I am a website store" comment and their profile is well dodgy.
