Help! Advice needed- 5800X issue

Afternoon all.

Had an issue with my 5800X CPU.
It's been back to OCUK, as one morning (having worked fine for months) it decided not to boot with any more than one stick of RAM.

I have changed the motherboard (Brand new MSI X570 Tomahawk) and PSU, but the problem persisted. I sent the CPU back for testing, and it has come back No Fault Found, having booted into Windows with 4 sticks at 3600MTs on the test bench. All I was getting was a DRAM LED and nothing more.

The same board currently has my 2700X sat in it, and is happily running in dual-channel, with the same RAM that has worked flawlessly for months already. BIOSes up to date (latest non-beta) on both old and new boards.
Obviously I have to wait for the chip to come back to me and see what happens, but does anyone have any clues what the issue could be? As I say, the system has been working fine for six months, then suddenly wouldn't turn on one morning. Nothing was changed.

I'm feeling a little lost on this one. How can the RAM (the only thing I haven't changed- 8Pack 3200MTs b-die stuff) work with my 2700X, but not the 5800X in the same two boards, at default speeds?
What am I doing wrong?

I am secretly hoping that it will magically work again upon return, otherwise I have spent 400 to hire a CPU for six months, and 200 quid on a new motherboard I didn't need.

This is really flummoxing me, any helpful hints greatly appreciated!

EDIT - I'm not questioning or complaining about OCUK's testing. Something is amiss here, just trying to work out what!

What ram do you have? Its probably tested with different ram so results may vary.

8Pack Teamgroup 3200. It's b-die, and has been used with my 2700X, and 5800X for the last six months without an issue.
The RAM is currently working fine in dual channel with the 2700X.
I'm veering towards the cooler- googlage seems to point that way. I'm as sure as I can be that all the components are good.
Will loosen things up a bit, and cross my fingers...

Must be seriously tight to warp the board enough to cause traces to not connect. But id expect it to not detect the ram at all rather than slow it down
