OK so the two water-cooled systems I've built have used combination reservoirs and pumps: nice and easy, no thought required. I decided I wanted to get clever though and combine this:

... with a pump. Sounds like a plan - except I have no idea what I'm supposed to actually buy to go with it :D Is it as simple as buying something like this:

Or do I need extra bits? There's clearly more to it than I realised and I'm confused. Has anyone got any advice / tips on what I should be looking for?

It's not so difficult as long as you get the right fitting sizes and types, I'm not sure what there is that can go wrong with a pump top and stand alone reservoir other than something having a port in a place you can't use or something not physically fitting into the space you want to put it.
Yeah I think I've got everything I need - I'm reusing my existing fittings and have plenty of spare hard-line tubing to match. I'm not sure how I'll physically secure the pump to the case yet but I have a bracket that I think will do the job. My plan is to simply attach the bottom port on the res to the top port on the pump using a male to male extender - that works right?
