With my Mondeo failing the MOT and a new car on the way I am needing to scrap the car.

I am wanting to sell the decent parts from it:

Suspension
Exhaust
De-Cat
Wheels
Interior

Is it possible to remove the suspension however still have a rolling shell?

I would like to sell the engine, however with very little knowledge on doing anything like this I wouldn't feel happy.

Has anyone sold an engine for someone (the buyer)to then to come along and remove it?

Might be more hassle than it is worth however I have had a fair bit of interest from other customers of the garage where it had been sat for various parts.

I guess I then phone up the local scrappy for them to take it away?

Try and flog it on a Ford forum maybe?

I remember being quite chuffed when I advertised my crashed 1.6 on 205gtidrivers.com and someone came along and paid me £300.

I never really looked into the ins and outs, when the garage said welding + sills needed I knew the car was going the same way my dads mondeo went, pretty much falling apart.

Get some independant quotes on that as the sills on a Mondeo shouldn't be too difficult or costly.

Saves a lot of hassle and the alternative isn't going to net you much cash back anyway.
