I posted about this in the 'Windows and Other Software' sub-forum a while back, but only got one answer which unfortunately didn't help.

Basically I need to produce a Gantt chart for a project that will run 7 days a week for 8.5 worked hours a day.

I've tried all kinds of things but I just can't get it to do what I want. Is there a simple and well defined method I can use to get this damn software to play ball, because it's driving me mental?

I just need something that works!

I've set all my activities for the project and given them their durations, but I'm utterly stuck at changing to a 7 day working week. Help!!

I've got 2007, I've managed it the following way, although I'm not saying there isn't an easier way!

Tools > Change Working Time > Create New Calendar.

Make it as a copy of your standard one. Choose a name for it.

On the "Work Week" tab at the bottom, click "details" and select both Saturday & Sunday (or the whole week if you want to change the other days) click "Set days to these specific working times" and type in the hours you'll be working.

Click "OK" then "OK" again, go to Project > Project Information, and then set the calendar to whatever you named it before.
