Hi guys i just bought a HIS HD 4670 IceQ edition graphics card for a spare dell PC i have at home. i only plan on using this machine just to mess around and fiddle with. The misses will prob use the pc to play sims on my 40" full HD TV so thats why i thought a lil OC would be handy, and i might stick some older games on it too(CSS, cod4 etc)

I wondered if anyone could give me the easiest way to see if i can OC this a little bit. I don't know where to begin with reference to OC as i have never tried it before. My PC knowledge is not too bad (build the rig in my spec with no issues) but just want to step by step guidance on how to begin?

Is it safe to use the ATI tool to detect max core and mem clocks?
Is it safe to OC on the standard POO psu that is inside the dell?

(the dell is an inspiron 530 2.66gig dual core 2gb of 5300 ((I think)) and a 320W psu) Its not a bad machine (got it for free)

So any help would be appreciated

HI, do NOT use CCC, Ati Tool is good, but better will be RIVA TUNER!

If system is stable with this card than psu is alright!

before check idle temp and load temp of 4670.

using Riva tuner try to up max 10mhz per step!
see how for will you go! and check temperatures, speed up fan aswel for better cooling!

my Ati cards could go max for 50mhz per memory and same with clock!
