Ok, sorry to be so dim but I don't seem to be able to find any instructions for the "Sleep as an android" app; is it supposed to be totally intuative? (blew that then :() or is there an online user manual/instructions?

I can play around with it I suppose (ooo er!) but just wondered if I was missing summat obvious.

All help gratefully received.

Alarm/sleep monitor (snoring/talking etc) .... google Sleep as an android for details. ..... just not sure how to work things...

Never used this, just posting to say it sounds like a good idea, I'll get it and if I figure it out I'll come back to you! :p
You might be interested there's other stuff that does the same thing though, a few companies make wristbands that figure out your REM state from how much you move in bed and then wake you up at the "optimal" phase. There was one that synced with your phone and triggered an alarm, there was another that had a vibration thing on the actual wristpad and woke you up with that.
If I remember the names of them I'll repost.

I presume you want to record your sleep talking?
I downloaded a version that didn't allow recording so ended up downloading from the market and it's got a 14 day trial.

1) Go into settings and make sure you have Sleep Noise Recording ticked (I didn't have this on my first version).
2) Go back to the main page and setup your alarm - mine is set to go off at 6:20am.
3) Click on the half moon icon and this will start it
4) After you wake up click on the mountain icon to listen to your sleep pattern. I've had 3 nights of me just getting up about 4 times for a wee.
