HELP: Anyone here have/use a bicycle GPS ?

I just received my garmin edge 1000 bicycle GPS from amazon uk yesterday and i noticed that the map does not cover Guernsey (channel islands) were I live .. :mad:

And I was really hoping maybe some you guys/girls could please help me out by looking at your Cycling GPS and seeing if the map covers Guernsey (or any of the channel islands) and then let me know...

I don't have one so can't tell you, but it might be worth looking at open street maps to see if they have maps for the islands.

Obviously if you've paid for Garmin maps expecting them to cover your area that kind of sucks though :/

I see garmin sell a map for £35 that covers the main roads like a car/motorbike GPS would

But garmin don't do an outdoor map that covers guersney

Just use open street map

like frenchtart suggested.
