Hi, I'm using two ATI 5870 graphics cards. One is a XFX and the other is a sapphire. It seems when I use eyefinity
or even have it enabled and I am playing a game using crossfire or not sometimes my monitors keep making the connection
sound and eventually all three will loose signal. The only way for me to fix this is to restart my computer.
Now since I'm using the very first versions of my graphics cards I have heard that the display port is lacking in voltage and
a simple GPU flash should fix this issue. Unfortunately I have never flashed a graphics card before but if it's anything like flashing
motherboard BIOs it should be a breeze.
The second problem come with the fact that both my cards are water cooled. Now I've heard you need to flash 1 card at a time
when flashing your bios although I was wondering how true this is? and what are the dangers of flashing both at the same time?
Also I could do with a point in the right direction for decent BIOs that will work on both cards.
thanks in advance,
