Right my screen began to looked washe dout so i decided i'd try and reinstall the display drivers.
I removed them from the device manager, and cleaned using driver cleaner.
I then tried to install the drivers and during the installer it says the there is a driver detection error or something and then it says theres no hardware to install.
Whats more annoying is when i boot back into windows a box comes up telling me that my drivers are out of date even though they're meant to be removed!
I'm really struggling here, is there any way i can remove all traces of ATI from my system manually?

Thanks

Hmm, whenever I play Q3 or Q3:TA (via Steam) that happens on boot, there is a button in CCC in colour correction (afaik) that says 'reset to defaults' or similar, and that puts it back to normal.

Have you tried to clean the registry?

You should remove the drivers in control panel add or remove software, not device manager. There is an entry for ati removal tool, this does the Job pretty well then use driver cleaner afterwards.

^tried that, there was no option to remove, only repair.
I fixed it now - i had to find everything ATI on my system and delete it manually. System seemed to hang when installing drivers but they're installed fine *fingers crossed*
