Help?! Bass Guitar

Hey guys,

I need to cover a song in school on bass guitar, the thing is i've been playing for literally 3 hours, over a week.

I need a ridiculously easy song to play so i can pass this (No swearing allowed) will be performing infront on year 7's so an appropiate song needed.

Any ideas?

Good suggestions - I had the same influences when first picking up a bass.

Journey to the end of the east bay is a good Rancid track to learn. For something simpler... try Warning, maybe even Longview by Green Day - I'd have a listen through International Superhits and see what takes your fancy.
