I took the risk and used Vista64 for my new build;

Asus P5E 3.03 BIOS
Intel Q6600 G0
Akasa AK-925 Revo CPU Cooler
4Gb GeIL DDR2 800MHz PC6400
Zotac 8800GT pre-OC 169.02 drivers :D
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
WD Caviar SE16 500GB SATA-II HDD
Samsung SH-S203 SATA-II DVD-RW
Corsair HX 620W PSU
Antec P182 case

Vista64 + all updates. Latest SUN Java SE. DX9.0c Nov 2007.

I've left the BIOS at stock standard. The system has been very stable. Everything has installed correctly and runs very nicely ;

MS Flight Simulator X (with SP1)
Forgotten Battles 1946
BF2 + BF2 SF (patched to latest)

BF2 runs like a dream after I fixed the punkbuster A & B port problem.

However, I've just installed Project Reality mod (full install 0.61), but when I try to run it, I get a hazy loading screen (no project reality video going on in the background), and then it crashes to desktop at random times during the loading with no error message(s).

I've looked at Vista's event recorder, but there is nothing out of the ordinary.

HELP! Does anyone have any suggestions. Project Reality is the only way to play BF2 for me, and this kind of sours the Vista64 experience (although I should point out, that so far it's fab, and not the slightest problem compared to most people's moaning on the Internet).

Thanks in advance.
