HELP....black screen

hi i just put together my new parts....abit ip-35, Q6600, radeon 2900 PRO and 2gb geil black dragon pc 8500..

As i goto start up my new machine, i hear the hard drive clicking as normal, all the fans work but no picture on my monitor......

i was wondering if anyone knows the defaul voltage of the mobo as the ram is defaulted at 2.2v-2.4v.

have you plugged in the 2 power connectors to the card ? and the extra power connector on t he mobo ?

theres 2 slots....a 6 pin connector and an 8 pin connector.......i only have the 6 pin connector coming from my thermaltake psu....

Plug both connectors in.

2 slots..........got the 6 pin conector plugged into the 6 pin lead....but i don't have anything that will fit the 8 pin connector.......

if i plug the atx +12v lead into the top of the motherboard, the gfx card fan goes crazy....

you should be able to use a 2nd 6 pin pci-e connector instead of an 8 pin connector... just leave 2 spaces blank
remember the 4 or 8 pin and 24 pin on the mobo btw

well looking at the cables tat come wth your pc you have a 4+4pin mother board pwoer connector that shoudl go into the black 8 pin slot at the top left/back corner of your board/ and then the 2 6 pin pcie need to go into the gfx card

Plug the 6pin and 8pin into the graphics card, dont worry about the other 2 slots and also make sure you connect the 4pin +12v connector in. Then it should be fine.
