Hi, need some advice on something, im not too bad sorting PC's out but this one has got me thinking and I dont know what it could be.
Okay, my rig is in my sig.
Just came home from work, I had left PC on. When I looked at desktop I had a Red question mark on my "shortcut to K drive icon" My K drive is my 2nd hard drive, a samsung spinpoint 250GB. Clicked it and it said "wasnt available, see if its plugged in etc" Main HD is a WD raptor 74GB
So I reset my computer and it got to the loading XP Pro bit boot screem with the loading bar on it going left to right and wouldnt go past that screen. Carried on moving accross the bar but never actually loaded windows nor went any further.
Tried it 4 times and nothing.
Eventually I reset PC and went into BIOS, stuck a PS2 keyboard on (as I have a USB Saitek keyboard and cant use it in BIOS). For some reason BOOT sequence had changed my HD's.
So reset it to back to normal, nothing else in the BIOS was wrong.
Then it went to :
load safe mode
safe mode with networking etc page
I choose last known good setup and I am back to normal.
Now i have not installed or changed anything recently, have downloaded utorrent but thats it. not even downloaded a torrent yet for it.
What actions can I do to check what could be wrong with my system.
My K drive is fine now, all data in there. Nothing appears wrong ?
